Data Analyst Intern - CLOSED

We’re looking for an enthusiastic intern ready to collaborate with colleagues from across the company, extract insights from complex datasets, and influence decision-making through analysis. You will play a meaningful role in bolstering our data-driven strategies and business intelligence operations. 

Collaborating with a variety of teams, you will delve into understanding the core business challenges and contribute to solving them through your analytical expertise. 

This internship is designed to provide you with real world experience in the realms of data analysis and data-powered solutions, setting a solid foundation for your career in data. 

What you will be doing: 

You will be working as part of our data team as a regular team member taking full ownership of your project end-to-end. 

Project Details:

• Collaborating with team members across the business to identify and answer key questions.
• Analysing metric performance and delivering insights.
• Using data visualization tools to build dashboards and reports.
• Learning and applying data analysis techniques.
• Managing and maintaining our data infrastructure.
• Additionally, you’ll be encouraged to take part in our hackathons, dev stormings, regular team stand ups and team building activities.

Who we are looking for: 

• In pursuit of a Bachelors / Masters in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics or related field.
• Good communication skills – able to translate complex findings and detailed analysis into simple and actionable business insights.
• Critical thinking – able to approach problems logically and rationally, question assumptions, and consider different angles.
• As well as enjoying working with data and getting insights, you have a strong interest in business and applying your knowledge of data to a wider, often less-technical, audience.
• You have experience with SQL.
• The candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, be a fast learner and have the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced development environment.

Bonus points:

• Previous experience at similar position as a data analyst, and/or experience in SaaS.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and translate them into business solutions.
• Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
• Previous technical internship(s) preferred.

Compensation: 12 EUR/hour 

The successful candidate MUST be a student based in Slovakia or Czechia for the duration of the internship (July 2024-June 2025) and available to work 20 hours per week.
