You role 

• Work with developers, to ensure a seamless and effective development process. 
• Experiment with new technologies and methodologies. Propose and implement creative solutions to complex problems within the engineering department. 
• Help us enhance the developer experience. Focus on improving communication channels, documentation, and cross-team collaboration. 
• Engage in knowledge-sharing initiatives, such as pair programming. Take part in video devstorming sessions (lectures) and code reviews. 
• Contribute to the stability and innovation of our applications. Take part in the implementation of best practices and improve the monitoring and the review process. 

Your profile 

• In pursuit of a Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or Engineering or related field. 
• Happy to solve new technical challenges and has a sound understanding of basic areas of Computer Science. 
• Striving to write quality code in one of these languages: Javascript/Typescript/Python. 
• A keen interest in understanding and improving the developer experience.
• Familiarity with or a strong desire to learn about software development processes, communication tools, and documentation best practices. 
• A proactive learner, eager to absorb new knowledge and share it with others. 
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment, open to giving and receiving feedback.
• Creative and open to experimenting with new technologies and approaches. 
• Bonus points for any previous experience in a tech environment. This experience could be from projects, internships, or academic involvement.

Compensation: 12 EUR/hour 

The successful candidate MUST be a student based in Slovakia or Czechia for the duration of the internship (July 2024-June 2025) and available to work 20 hours per week.
